Job Summary

We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative.

In this position, you will coordinate sales distribution, quotas, and goals. You should analyze sales statistics, encouraging your team to hit sales targets and expand company with new sales, clients, and territories.

You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Pursue new sales opportunities, gather inbound leads, and follow-up calls/meetings
  • Establish sales territories and manage sales distribution
  • Research customer needs and requirements; implement new ideas/strategies to generate interest in sales
  • Meet and strive to exceed sales quotas
  • Interact with sales representatives, team leaders/managers, and executives to evaluate sales strategy and results
  • Follow-up on potential sales leads
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans
  • Develop and implement strategies to bring in new business
  • Analyze sales data and recommend changes or improvements for better customer satisfaction and future revenue

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, administration, or related field
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Person must be willing to work anywhere

3-5 years of previous experience in sales field
